Switch a box into roaming mode, put it in a car, and it becomes a drive-test rig. As you move, it logs off-air signal strength, error rate and audio quality against GPS — building a map of where your station comes through clean, where it fades, and where it drops out entirely.
It's the same off-air receiver doing your compliance recording — just told to move. GPS is standard on every box, so every reading knows exactly where it was taken.
